Don Nadie vs. Don Alguien

Solomon's humor is legendary.  The NVI Spanish translation of Proverbs 12:9 gets it just right.

Vale más un Don Nadie con criado
que un Don Alguien sin pan.

'Mr. Nobody is worth more with a servant than Mr. Somebody without bread.'

Another Spanish version, Biblia en Lenguaje Sencillo 'Bible in Simple Language' doesn't capture the same sense, but its poetry reminds me of Silvio Rodriguez' "La Verguenza".

Mas vale pobre acompañado,
    que rico abandonado.
'A poor one accompanied is worth more than a rich one abandoned.'
