Film: Los últimos de Filipinas

Los últimos de Filipinas, "The last of the Filipinos", is a Spanish film made in 1945 about a garrison of 50 Spanish soldiers in Baler, the Philippines, who withstood a siege by American and Rebel forces for 11 months during the Spanish-American War. Although the war officially ended in December 1898, these men kept fighting until summer of 1899 because they were cut off from communications. It's interesting to watch, because their part in the war is just as valid as our part.
